Ask a Question

This question is for Warren, Dale and Paula. Why do you have such concern about The protection of provincial (crown) land. Are you afraid that this protection will run interference with Municipality Land use bylaws?

Please tell me why Hartz Point and lands on the 103 was purchased? What made the council decide these lands were a necessary investment without a plan and public input?

Warren you claim there is already enough protected land in Shelburne County and site Bowers Meadows. However, Bowers Meadows is mostly bog and not a place for recreational activities. If protected, Sandy Point Crown land is recreational for our community. In addition, like Bowers, Sandy Point Crown land captures C02 emissions, provides wildlife habitat AND protects our precious water source. That is, of course, it’s not developed but protected.

Warren you stated 51% of land protected when in reality Mr. C. Smith stated and I quote, "30%". Will you correct your false information with a public apology at your next monthly meeting?

Councillor Thorburne Irvine posted on FB that each councillor receives $5,000 yearly to allocate funds within their community. How are the councilors spending their $5,000 this year? Past years? This is the first time I have heard about this program.

A 3 min excerpt from the Wilderness Protection presentation. The questions from Richardson, Sutherland, and the CAO say a lot about their vision for our future. Keep it in mind heading into election 2028.
